The location of this hotel is great for the first time visitor to the city. It is one block from the wharf, one block from the Hyde/Powell cable car turnaround and restrauants everywhere to choose from.
There is now pool or jacuzzi.
Loved the location. The people that worked there were very nice and helpful. Rooms were nice, a little pricey but I am sure that is because of the location.
If I was them, I would not recommend the "On / Off" city bus tour. The worst big city tour I have ever been on. There was no narrator and a pathetic recorded tour with really bad music in between the so called information on the city.
Comfy beds, great location, clean rooms
Was a little pricey for the type of hotel, food facilities weren't great but good location for other cafes and restaurants
Cafe menu was lacking and could he had more options...
Very comfortable, great location
Quite pricey but no more so than similar In the area
Our room was extremely clean, lovely comfortable bed and sofa. The location was excellent for walking to Fisherman's wharf and Pier 39, you can get on the street cars/trams just one block away, and Lily the Manager of the "Table 580" Bistro was by far the best, she always greeted us with a big smile and welcome, nothing was too much trouble for her, she even met us in the reception when we left and wished us well and gave us a huge hug good bye xx
Most definitely need to change the glazing to the room windows, very loose fitting and I think only single glazed, having a burger bar in the courtyard all the rear rooms have to put up with high spirit shouting and noise late into the night. TV had very few channels to watch unlike the TV's in the Bistro.
The hotel is convenient to all attractions. Walking distance and friendly staff. Lilly in the breakfast nook was very accommodating. Her breakfasts were delicious with fast service with a smile. Great staff!!
Nothing comes to mind; all was fine.
Being near the water - which means space and cleaner air. Smaller hotel.
The price of the room - $419.00 plus tax for each night of the work week! This is not a five star hotel.
The breakfast was delicious.
I reserved a king bed room in January 2016 for our stay in June 2016. Upon checking in we were told there were no king rooms left due to overbooking and it was a first come first serve basis. Check in was 3 pm and we were there at 5.30 pm. I was very disappointed as we were looking forward to that king bed that we reserved months in advance. The front desk staff did their best to fix the situation but we were still disappointed and will not use this facility to book again because who knows what kind of room we would get even if we book and pay for a specific room since it's a first come first serve.
The staff were incredibly accommodating in allowing me extra time past checkout. After the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, I really needed a shower!
the breakfast was very good and at a decent price.
the bed was a bit small for 2 person.
I paid more money per night than in the booking. 20$ extra for things in the hotel (that I had to pay) 28$ for parking
Air con is very old n noisy that makes us sleepless The room was overbooked with inconvenience for us to travel from one place to another in midnight.
No free parking or breakfast
The room was nice. Bed was comfy. Terrible view
I asked for a view they said there were no views but yet there were rooms facing the court yard
